Edit: It's exactly 11 months and there's only 4 more people behind me (molydeii is the most recent).... wondering where the set is right now....

I would like to participate. Please add me to the list. Where is the set now? Is there a thread that keeps up with it? Does the current custodian pick the next one?

After reading ten pages of the entire thread, I am in as well. I can take the coins to my workplace, I work with kids with disadvantaged backgrounds. I'll tell the stories of the coins to them. I can take the coins to the world's first and only bridge that conencts two continents (Europe and Asia). The coins will drive with me between Europe and Asia, back and forth on my way to work. I can take the coins to Taksim, one of the busiest and most profilic districts in Istanbul. I'll also take them to the 1000 year old churches in Istanbul, as well as the Hagia Sophia (one of the world's seven wonders) and Bosphorus. I'll even order them Fish and Raki (Turkish national Drink:)) And also, I can take the coins to my brother's wedding. If the coins will be here 'till February 2010, I can take them to my own wedding as well. If someone donate a sixpenny or so, I can give that to my missus at the wedding as a gift from my forum buddies. I'll take the coins to the famous Ottoman district of Tophane, where they have all those Nargine (Sisha) cafes and Ottoman bistros. I'll take them to a walk in cobbaltstone pavements that were laid in 1400's. I can take the coins to the Polonezkoy (Polonesia) a village that were founded by Polish immigrants, that were trying to escape Tzarist Russian soliders back in 1910's. The village is like 10 kilometers to where I am. And finally, I can take the coins to my honeymoon (probably somewhere in Europe). And many other things I figure out. I can offer them quality time here at ıstanbul!.. and also, I'll donate a coin to the lot, which is not a valuable coin but the first colelctible coin I had when I was a small kiddo.
