With how many marketplaces they list in, I think they have some confidence in their e-commerce marketing abilities to get the price they want. Considering how long they have been holding firmish in their highish pricing, I think they found a formula that's meeting their revenue and margins goals.
I wonder if the BIN is used on their end moreso to gauge demand on a listing and less to actually do the dance with a buyer unless no one is making offers over an certain period of time. So for them, BIN is not a tool for buyers get a deal but to justify the highest price they thing they can get eventually. Also, buy using it, a buyer might also be giving them reason to say no it there happen to be a few others who also submitted an offer.
