The Wreath Crowns of King George V are definitely rarities - there are 9 coins in the series with mintage figures ranging from 932 to 15,030. They were issued partly as a reult of lobbying by Member of Parliament Sir Charles Osman, who also happened to be President of the Royal Numismatic Society. He originally intended them as 'Peace Crowns', rather like the US Peace dollar. The 1927 issue was released in Proof Sets but all other dates were issued by the Bank of England in December each year for use as Christmas presents. I'd love to complete the series one day bur currently I only have two of them: 1927 and 1933. They illustrate the difference between Proof and non-Proof coins!

It's a great design, issued a similar type in Australia, too.
