Semi-related -- While searching this a bit, came across this rare 50 cents piece, now approaching close with robust bidding:

A lot of lower feedback bidder types involved here... but sometimes scarce pieces bring (legit) infrequent users out of the woodwork.

I still stand on my comment that the examples sold so far are mostly counterfeit. The ones from Spain and Netherlands are just shocking. The links posted are not of the same year or denomination.

I guess it comes down to how much you would like. If you are happy with that amount, most certainly go for it.

That said, I believe my low grade example was close to 100 dollars. I'm certain if genuine is worth more. As of how much, I have no idea. It's not common as what many people think and don't let people start quoting catalog value.

Throw it on ebay for 200 dollars and see if anyone bites.
