The Greek coins were probably bought by someone as a holiday souvenir - back in the 1970s I remember seeing similar 'sets' of obsolete Greek coins on sale at souvenir shops in Athens. ace_ftw Pillar of the Community Canada 1747 Posts	Posted 11/07/2017 6:45 pm For the Canadian 1909 quarter can you please post larger pictures in the Canadian error forum? I was looking at that and thought the scan inverted the image. Could you also do a few simple tests and post the results: weight of the coin, is it magnetic? This coin should be sterling silver, should be roughly 5.8g If it is aluminum, then the weight would be way lighter, and unlikely a legit coin. Report this Post to the Staff
