Excellent coins, everyone!
It was probably a combination of two things - PVC corrosion and age. That pic is with the coin sitting on top of the 2X2 - it was so nasty before that you couldn't tell what the coin was.

Here is a coin I have been wanting to play on this thread for a while  Austria to a scarce country, Liechtenstein 1910 Krone (This was a rather difficult country to locate...)   |

Yeah, I paid $51 for that coin about 1.5 years ago from another whatnot dealer, and to me was worth it  Edited by mrwhatisit
