Here is one of the more common novelty Lincoln Cent counterstamps out there. Most of theses are dated 1964 which predates all other modern novelty style counterstamps in my collection. I think the success of this particular counterstamp is responsible for novelty counterstamps as we know them. Here are also some examples of the cards they originally came attached to.
