B.A.M.C.O.? counterstamp. EDIT: I was just doing some research and B.A.M. Co. Was a carpenter tool manufacturing company. I found nail sets on ebay with the same stamp on them! ExoGuy I found one!

I like the medical one you did on previous page. So out of curiosity - how many counter stamped cents do you have and how long have you been collecting them? You collection thus far seems to be quite large and varied.

Quote: how many counter stamped cents do you have and how long have you been collecting them? I have never counted. If you included the duplicates and only one state set it takes up one and a half of the Whitman generic "Coin Albums". That's 11 pages. My first one was the Bicentennial Commemorative I posted a week or so ago. That was in 1977. Second one was a Masonic counterstamp that same year followed by a Lincoln/Kennedy in 78. I added a few since then and a couple of years ago. That's when I really started seeking them out. I've never been to a coin show but I've heard that some dealers have a binder of them off to the side. I'd love to find out. Edit: Forgot to mention a Whitman Currency Album that I keep all the cards in and I'm going to start posting a bunch that are in a business card holder in the near future.

Now, I'm not sure about an Ohio and a Martini connection but someone felt it appropriate.

Is that Ohio one stamped or engraved?

Quote: Is that Ohio one stamped or engraved? Pretty sure it's stamped. If I look at it under my loupe I don't see any stutter marks that engraving would leave behind.

This next group of counterstamps are from a greeting card company that was named Thomas Sos Enterprises out of Florida. Lincoln will forever have his nose 'there'.
