Seeing as how I just really do not like the design of the Standing Liberty quarter, my vote is the same as the majority of the people so far: I choose the gold coin.

Meh. I still like the quarter more.

I'm a type collector, so I'd keep the gold and swap out the 1916 quarter with a high grade common date one.

Without hesitation, the 1916 SLQ since it's the only one I'm missing in the series!

Eh, maybe the gold makes more sense as an investment, but the SLQ would be a hole filler. I've been interested in doing a set since I got my first 1917.
