Dern it, TNG, that's sad to hear. Please make sure your wife stays hydrated and eats even if she doesn't want to. You have my condolences and my prayers. Please have your house watched while you are preoccupied.

Best wishes.

Thanks again all.
PS: I have three neighbors out here, all with a clear view and we all watch each others houses. ADT & trail cams and things work out pretty good. Wife is taking things pretty well.
He was suffering pretty badly and died in his sleep after finally dozing off & closing his eyes for 15 minutes.
Off to Heaven, I am sure.

You're on the ball, TNG. I lost my S-I-L recently to cancer. Even though I didn't care for her it effected me because I felt the angst of other family members. Hang in there.

Thank you all again. The funeral was yesterday and it was a long day. The were many who came to support the family and to say goodbye. There were many who would have come that have passed on before him. So they have been saying "Hello" in Heaven, while we were saying "See you later" here on Earth.
It was a good day. The wife is struggling with an terrible cold all this time but is doing very well otherwise.
I was honored to say Grace before the wonderful meal afterwards.

That is all good to hear (or read ). I hope her cold subsides soon, but the support from others is priceless and I am personally happy that the "tree incident" turned out how it did. My support is with you and your wife through this. Tell her I said: "Don't take any wooden nickels!"

Thanks again, all is calming down and my wife's cold has improved a little. Indeed, all your thoughts and prayers have helped.
I am sure all will be well from here on out. It was kinda tough there for awhile.
I think back and I am grateful that CCF was there that night. Isn't that strange how that works. A family forum in a time of need was there.
hmmm I would have never guessed that would be the case.
There are a few things that happen to us in life that we remember where we were and what exactly happened about us at that given time. I'll remember I couldn't call anyone in my shock and sadness at that hour and went to you guys for help. I think that is kinda neat.

The car gets fixed next week. LOL
