The Lynchburg half is challenging to obtain in honestly circulated state ... being a member of the 1934 - 1939 'commemorative craze' era. In my 10+ years of collecting the classic silver commemorative in circulated state I have come across two ... hence proud of my current example but always seeking a downgrade. 1936 Lynchburg (VA) Sesquicentennial Half Dollar - PCGS XF45 Enjoy

I do like the architecture on the reverse, but that obverse looks awfully crowded. Thanks for sharing both of those.

Interesting factoid: the "Dolly" was designed by Tiffany & Co. One of my favorites. I have the proof but still need to pick up the UNC.

Agree that obverse looks too busy.

 - obverse is very busy. I googled it and I understand that the gazebo is the signature for Montpelier, but do you need it on the obverse if the building is on the reverse?

The Maine half dollar is readily encountered in the marketplace in circulated state. An informative aspect of these coins in well circulated state is the window into the relief of the coins ... the Maine half reverse being a prime example where the wreath survives (lower relief) longer than the central legends, which have worn away. 1920 Maine Centennial Half Dollar - PCGS AG03 Enjoy
