GregAlex Pillar of the Community United States 822 Posts	Posted 01/09/2024 5:34 pm An interesting observation on a few of these -- back when trolleys were converting from horse-drawn to electrified, power companies quickly realized that streetcars were becoming some of their biggest municipal customers. So in some cities, the power companies just decided to create their own streetcar service. I've posted a couple of these before, but here are three examples. Report this Post to the Staff

GregAlex Pillar of the Community United States 822 Posts	Posted 05/05/2025 4:09 pm This trolley actually ran along a line not far from where I grew up. The vignette is nice but it has another feature that you rarely see on a stock certificate -- an engraved back. Typically, the transfer text was seen as purely functional and nearly always offset printed. In this case, the company paid extra for an embellished version. Report this Post to the Staff
