Estimated that the 2008 AA notes (bonds) will redeem at .30 per million$ on a contract rate.

Does that include all the 2008 denominations? Are you saying that you could get $.30 ZWD per $1M ZWR?

If so, assuming my math is correct (and it probably isn't), you could redeem a 2008 $100T note/bond for $30M ZWD (roughly equivalent to $83k USD)?

100,000,000,000,000 / 1,000,000 = 100,000,000 (or 100T/1M = 100M)

100,000,000 * 0.30 = 30,000,000 ZWD

30,000,000 ZWD = $82,895.83 USD

Somehow I don't think that's right. My math must be way off. But if it's not you can be sure I'm cashing in my $100T. Papa needs a new pair of shoes.

The 100 trillion note has been demonetized. If you had a domestic bank account, you would have received $1 US for every 35 quadrillion Zimbabwe dollars in 2015. Better off selling on ebay.

I bought one many years ago in Chicago for $10 US. At the time it seemed expensive. At one time I wanted to get the whole set, but prices seem a little silly now.

Also huge amounts of Chinese counterfeits .

Apparently this Zimbabwe 100 Trillion note (P-91) has been counterfeited once AGAIN. And this series of copies is far superior to the previous copied versions. This may explain why everyone seems to have a copy (Numista Rarity Index of 16, lower than today's $50.00 CAD polymer bill NRI of 19!)

So BUYER BEWARE!

Read this Numista thread on how to ID the old & new fakes:

Our friends in China love to counterfeit everything. They have issued different counterfeits of these every year since 2023. Bank Note World has a great show and tell of what to look for in telling the genuine note from each year of counterfeits. https://www.banknoteworld.com/addit...it-info.html
