I posted '85 and '86 mint sets and proof set. All we needed to finish '85 was the common stuff so I posted both years so I could get a chance to post the Statue of Liberty Commemorative half before someone beat me to it! I think muddler is right. We're down to the gold issues.
Heeeere shiny shiny shiny!

@ larsdog You should post the reverse also and stick to one year at a time. Otherwise you may as well just post the next 12 years now so no one else needs to enjoy the fun. Just not very cool.

I usually just posted the mint and proof sets at the end after everyone else posted what they had just to take care of the more common stuff that might be missing. I made an exception in '85 / '86. All that was missing in '85 was a few common items from the mint and proof sets, so I posted those AND '86 at the same time so I could also post the Commemorative half I have from my 7070 before someone beat me to it. I have precious few "goodies" beyond the boring mint and proof set stuff, and I wanted a chance to show off something less pedestrian. I have no problem staying on the sidelines if what I have done is in any way inappropriate. No offense intended.

Quote: I have no problems staying on the sidelines if what I have done is in any way inappropriate. No offense intended. Sorry to come off so strong. I didn't mean it quite that way. I got "enlightened" early on in the beginning for posting one year too soon Quote:Thank you everyone! @jst1dreamr: We're actually still on 1965. We need to wait until all the coins for each year have been posted or a week has passed, whichever is sooner. There's only 3 more coins left for 1965, and then we can start with your 1966 SMS. Those three coins are: 1965 Roosie 1965 Washington quarter1965 JFK half Edited by CollegeBarbers 07/16/2018 8:11 pm so when I saw you post of 1984/1985/1986/1987 coins at one time I guess I felt it was not fair. The last thing I would want is for you to sit on the sidelines. Your coins are as good as anybody elses. Please forgive my outburst. I guess I just had a bad moment.

Not sure if we are going to see much of the gold eagles.
I did think we would see the Statue of Liberty gold.

I just got too excited about finally having something special to offer in the way of a Commemorative half from my 7070. I don't have anything to offer when it comes to Commemorative coins other than what I have in my 7070. I like jbuck's attitude when it comes to seeing all those beautiful commemoratives and bullion coins: Fun to see!
