Hi Detecting Kane,

How old are your kids? I have a 12 year old grandson that I am considering the tho't of purchasing a detector for his 13 birthday. His folks built a home along Idaho's Snake River which I thing would give up some good items. But then again, he may not think so.

No pictures but a gold plated silver necklace and a silver ring find last year. I am still new to detecting, this will be my second summer. Swinging an MXT I hope to find some more jewelry.

I bought a new detector last August and was able to use it for only a couple of months. Found quite a few early coins and jewelry, but my favorite has to be this ring. I use it as my avatar on many forums.
