I actually like this design, although I believe the drawing of the obverse was better than the final rendering. As others have pointed out, the medal alignment should make the flow stunning from the headpiece to the eagle. Although I can't afford to buy either option, I look forward to seeing photos of the medals in hand.

Not sure if I am ready to commit to a 2.5 ounce medal just yet.

I probably am one of the few who actually really like the design but I probably won't be able to shell out that kind of money.

I do like the design. I like the other two as well (2016 and 2017). I just wish there was a one ounce option.

I don't understand why this is 2.5 ounces and not 1 ounce, especially with the previous issues being 1 ounce. The cost is just too prohibitive. However, I'm still curious to see what it looks like in person. Is there any information on the size of the medal?

CB, according to an article on coinnews.net, "The 2019 American Liberty medal at 2.5 ounces in .999 fine silver marks a first for its size in modern U.S. Mint history. Priced at $99.95, it is produced at the Philadelphia Mint to a diameter of about 2 inches."

The OGP looks the same as the one for the 2017 medal. If they are the same size I might have to reconsider my decision to skip this one. I do like things that match.

That's seems rather silly for a limit of 1 for the gold

I think it is odd that the drawing on the box looks so different from the coin. Couldn't they have reverse-engineered the drawing to better look like what the coin ultimately turned out?

IMHO the art on the COAs look better (not bug eyed) than the coin and medal themselves. So I guess I'd say, couldn't they have done a better job of sculpting to make the coin look more like the art In any case, neither the coin or the medal are in my future
