I would like to remind you that the first round ends at 8PM my time = 2 PM forum time. After that, the results and current standing will be published. Once I find another interesting US coin sold here, round 2 will begin. And it's time to announce the Points system. If the price was: guessed correctly - 15 pts. missed by 5% or less - 12 pts. missed by more than 5% but not more than 10% - 10 pts. missed by more than 10% but not more than 15% - 8 pts. missed by more than 15% but not more than 20% - 6 pts. missed by more than 20% but not more than 25% - 4 pts. missed by more than 25% but not more than 30% - 2 pts. missed by more than 30% - 1 pt. In the event of nobody guessing correctly, an additional 1 pt is awarded for the person who was the closest to the correct price. That's all for now. Thank you for participating!

Cool point system contest! This should be fun. How many rounds are you thinking of going?
Can't wait for round 2!

Jbuck - as soon as I find any interesting US-coin auction. By interesting I mean something else than worn silver dollars, LMCs, and all that clad that makes up 90% of all the auctions here! Cheungsta - I thought of it as an ongoing contest and therefore, the results will be added up after each round. By the way I've noticed the weirdest description for a V nickel so far: "Reserve price for this coin of course there is none I don't have 1 million dollars. Surely the coin was struck by a mint. Visible wear. The coin probably was once nickel." It's a literal translation. No, I don't understand the first sentence, even in Polish.
