KenKat- I've used yours, jbuck's and other members 7070's as an on-going reference point to assist and motivate me with my set. Thanks!

Again, the Draped Bust large cent hole in my album sits empty. But I plan to fill it soon. Very nice Draped bust large cents posted.

Quote: [I've never understand why this coin has "1/000" instead of "1/100" on the reverse.] BarryG - I'm not an expert but was also curious about this and found that it was not an isolated error found on this one die. It is found on multiple reverse dies in the early 1800's so someone's math skills were not good. Most mint workers were not highly educated and so we have this recurring error along with spelling errors on the dies.

barryg your 1810 large cent looks like it is the 1810/09 is it? Nice coin no matter if it is the over date or not anyway.
