Got this one online ages ago and was surprised to find it signed by the man in the gold cameo, Fern Villeneuve, leader of the RCAF GoldenHawks.
I have a friend who was Fern's weatherman for years and he confirmed that it is his signature. An added bonus I am proud to have.

On May 1, 1960 the USSR shot down a US U-2 high altitude reconnaissance aircraft over Soviet airspace.

This U-2 incident had convinced Premier Nikita Khrushchev of the Soviet Union he could no longer cooperate with President Eisenhower in establishing a peaceful coexistence between the two superpowers.
As a result, USSR walked out of 1960 Paris Summit after President Eisenhower failed to apologize for the U-2 incident. The tensions between the East and West continued: nuclear arms race, building of the Berlin, communist Cuba, etc...
This is a historical numismatic artifact: The 1960 Paris Summit medal.
Up until 2014, this medal was unknown (as is still unknown to many) and is part of the recently established President of the United States (POTUS) special Government medal (sGm) series.
This medal is one of fourteen types struck by the Philadelphia Mint for President Eisenhower's use. This .900 silver medal has the same dimensions as US Morgan silver dollar, but with a smooth edge.
This medal was issued by the direction of President Eisenhower to individuals supporting his visit to Paris, France. Unissued silver medals were returned to the US and destroyed.
Two other medal types were struck and were to be given to the other Heads of State (USSR, France, and UK) and their delegates. All were returned to the US and destroyed, a great historical loss.
A nicely naturally toned specimen of the 1960 Paris Summit medal.
