Thank you jbuck, E&V, GLB49 & Dearborn. I've looked for this exact "Remember Pearl Harbor" commemorative coin BUT, with a US Navy reference stamped...

Dearborn, my friend, I wouldn't say better, but they should of been more respectful and included the US Navy. We lost more Navy personnel there that day... What did these Army bases ( barracks) have to do with this PH commemorative coin anyway? . . I might need to scope some info on this...

Fort Shafter is in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. It served as a command center and experienced minor casualties while supporting the main naval assault on Pearl Harbor.

Then there was Schofield Barracks - Schofield Barracks is a United States Army installation and census-designated place (CDP) located in Honolulu and in the Wahiawa District of the Hawaiian island of Oahu, Hawaii. Schofield Barracks was attacked during the December 7, 1941, surprise attack on Pearl Harbor; although not the primary target (which was the Navy's Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor), Japanese planes strafed the Army installation and its nearby Wheeler Army Airfield, causing damage and casualties as soldiers fought back, making it part of the wider Oahu attack.
And lets not forget about Wheeler Army Airfield: Wheeler Army Airfield was known simply as Wheeler Field, a crucial Army air installation adjacent to Schofield Barracks that was a primary target for the Japanese to destroy U.S. fighter planes and prevent counterattacks
And wasn't it at Bellows Airfield that 2 pilots manage to get into the air and offer up some counterattacks?
