I found $2.09 yesterday, which wouldn't have been especially notable during my heyday a couple of years ago but still represents the best daily total I've had in a while now.

Quote: I found $2.09 yesterday excellent! I've been wondering where you've been. glad you're still finding! i guess it's been a few days since my last post; not much to talk about since I haven't been finding much lately. tonight, though, I picked $1.60 from just 4 stops, including four quarters from my favorite ice machine: six quarters and a dime tonight. no zincolns.

Quote: helder, did you pick all of that from just one spot? All in 1 spot, most of the snow melted and this must have been covered by the snow. I found 30 more cents about 100 feet away, looks like some just chucked all their change into a pile of snow.

Quote: chucked all their change into a pile of snow lucky you! good eye! there may be more. vigilance + patience + persistence + a little luck = money for metals. speaking of luck, I picked this off the curb just outside the gates of Seaside, a small condo complex on one end of the island, where I help out an 85-year-old 'little old lady'-type with a bad ticker & bout of breast cancer & ongoing treatments for that, post-surgery-- I take care of the patio garden & a host of other errands/chores, including setting out the garbage & recycling every thursday, the day I picked the lucky stone... I was leaving, walking my bike out the pedestrian gate, and as I closed the gate I just happened to look down and see this thing, it had a very out-of-the ordinary look to it, so I nabbed it... the coins- forty cents- are added for scale, and are incidentally the only coins I picked tonight. no zincolns.
