Quote: last night when I arrived at my first kitty to feed, I noticed there was something else there waiting for me. Fantastic!

Today taking the dog for a walk, I only found 6 cents, but 3 of the 6 cents were wheat cents. A 1941, 1956 and 195#. I've found one but never 3.

As it's spring in the northern hemisphere the coins have sprouted. It's been really good last few days but today was better. The weather is nice, it's in the 60°s and the sun is shining. Although I did this path a few days ago, the coins are almost coming up quicker than I can get them. Like I said today was a good day. $5.19

another day, another dollar. most people wouldn't see that lying there, but I do. it was the second thing I saw when I rolled into the parking lot (the first being the hungry kitty running to me). see that dollar lying there in the scattered mulch & stones? I also nabbed an additional $1.45 in stray coin tonight, so it was a really good night.

Well done, Mr Pink! I haven't done as well as you, but have just had a very strange experience! I was walking back from the beach after my (almost) daily swim in the English Channel, and I spotted a coin lying in the road. I picked it up, expecting it to be an English penny. But when I scraped the dirt off, I found... ... a grotty 1996 Zincoln, 3,600 miles from home!

The seasons have definitely changed. Same place I walked, same place I found $5, yesterday I found $1, and then 10 minutes later same place I walked the day before I find another $5.
Ended up depositing $22 in the bank.
A good few days!

Well done, hfjacinto! All I found on today's walk was a solitary 1988 British penny - a much more typical find than my last coin! I'm actually quite happy to find any pre-1992 UK penny, as they go into my hoard to use in squashed penny machines. Pure bronze ones are better for elongating than the new bronze-clad steel type.

i wasn't planning on another post so soon, but.... it was a good night, I scratched up $3.47 in scattered change. of that, two of the nine quarters I found were picked off the pavement at a gas station, near the pumps, actually: guess what one of them was! no foolin: 2019-W RoNR my 5th W quarter, my 3rd RoNR, and the 2nd W I've picked off the ground. ironically, the last W I picked was from the same gas station. it has a little circulation wear, but also has unfortunate obverse rim dings (minor road rash) and a generous dollop of black kosmik krud.
