Quote: Wonder what the expiration date is on those Debbie cakes---2035? Nov. 27, '23... lol, I checked it before it left the circle k with me it's stuff I don't normally buy, so it's a one-off. universe is telling me to have a treat, so I don't argue. I noticed winn-dixie had them on sale, 2 boxes for $5. i'd really rather have the money, tbh..

Does finding money in your own home count ? This 1906 Canadian Large Cent was in a shadow box my wife configured over the years. The box will be going to my daughter so she and her daughter can make their own memories. My wife's family hailed from Newfoundland and Labrador; don't know that the date had any significance, though it could have been my wife's grandmother's birth year. . .

Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies- I have 3 fresh boxes the distributor dropped off at work, I can't give them away and I don't even like them. Bit I did find a dime, cent and a nickel plus a 1944 Mexican centavo I think it was off a costume as it looks like a button loop was soldered on the coin. I've taken a part time gig at a nearby storage facility so chances of finding coins has increased a ton. Cruddy photos shot & edited quick on the iphone

Quote: I've taken a part time gig at a nearby storage facility you lucky ducky. Quote: so chances of finding coins has increased a ton. minutiae: i was looking at my calendar scribbles last night and I wondered how much cash I've found this year.. so I got deeper into my calendar to count all the FRNs so far: $1- 22 $5- 2 $10- 0 $20- 5 $132! wow, I guess that detail eluded me for a while, I didn't realize it was that much. that means the remaining $346 has been all coin, of course. that's just amazing. it still amazes me. that is all money that had been lost or tossed (and then recovered by First Pink Salvage & Savings)

last week was an atypical week. it was bookended by rain days, both sunday and saturday were soggy, and zeroes... mon-fri I found at least a little each night, including on the other rain day (tuesday).. so mon-fri I found $4.32 in well-scattered change, plus 2 bottles of water, plus the little debbie box.. those extra goodies made a sub-par week a little more bearable.. this week, I'm happy to report, is off to a better start; last night I picked $1.44 in well-scattered change (despite more rain), and I scored another bottle of water, lol: it went into my first cupacoffee today.

Great find, Mr Pink! Even in Europe I don't often pick up 1-Euro coins.
