Mr Pink, And here I think I'm the only looking for money when I walk. I walk a lot, generally from a low of 7-8 miles a day to as much as 15 miles. I also run and bike, but those are more warm weather. I always look for change. I don't find as much as you do, mostly a few cents each time but other times a dollar or five. Just the past 2 months I found a $5, 2-$1, .27, .13, .37 but mostly all I get is a cent or 2. I live in a suburban town and we generally have only families live here so I don't find a lot but it's pretty rare that I don't find some money. I put it all in the kids college fund. Here is what I found a few weeks ago walking the dog.

hfjacinto- yep. exactly that. i found $1.23 tonight, this was the big score: a sixty-two cent coin dump in the middle of a big parking lot, just like I mentioned in my reply to jbuck on the previous page. it's warm year-round here, so I get my biking & walking done primarily at night. I get five miles a night minimum, sometimes as much as ten, maybe. I can go out comfortably each night and really only have to worry about rain. rain wrecks searching for money & complicates finding my kitties.

Quote: no, jbuck, I am confined to kw, lol. Glad I did not miss out on a chance to say hello. Next time I am down that way I will let you know. We were only in KW for one day, rest of the time was in Marathon. I hope you have continued success in 2020!

thanks, jbuck. I'm sure it'll be at least as intriguing as 2019. it's a box of chocolates every night, I never know what I'm gonna get.

Just in the last 2 days I found .11 (2 nickels and a LMC), and today was .28. The LMC are pretty road rashed and you can tell by the how white they are zincolns.

a good deal of the Lincoln cents I find are roadrashed & nasty. i got lucky again last night... I stopped pedaling and parked my bike in this plaza corner. when it's wind out of the northwest-north-northeast, this corner collects leaves & trash that blows in. I know to check this area because I've found $5 here on two different occasions, both times during the right wind conditions. i made one pass and stopped because I saw something. most ppl would easily miss it, and apparently did.

I was in a doctors office in a large hospital last week. I looked down and there was a Susan B Anthony dollar laying on the carpet.

Another .28 cents today !! No pictures I dumped into the coins I roll and deposit once a month. One thing I noticed is that there is a lot of trash when I look down.

another wind-deposited dollar bill in the bush last night: I've been pretty lucky over the past several weeks, stray dollars seeming to be somewhat abundant lately.

The wind is relentless. "It is not that the wind is blwing, it is what the wind is blowing..." ~ Ron White In your case... dollar bills!

a couple hours before I discovered the W quarter in my pocket last night, I captured a dollar in the wild:
