I'm a small time collector. I use an app simply called Coin Collection by SpencerPages. I find it more than enough for my needs and easy to use. It even allows for how many of each coin you have, a grade, and a memo box for each.

I started looking at OpenNusmat, but I'm finding there's really no documentation and the workflow doesn't match the way my mind works. I'm looking to load an entire catalog of US coins from a spreadsheet and can't figure out how. The import creates all of the coins as Owned.

I am a spreadsheet user also. It is easily manipulated to my need and I add notes on prices.

I have a long range goal of getting my collection inventoried. I've used some free spreadsheet templates to create my own, which I am using for the task.
