Here's the breakdown for each denomination.

25c - 116 = 29.00
10c - 41 = 4.10
 5c - 65 = 3.25
 1c - 803 = 8.03
     1025 $44.38

Phase 8

Last month July while flicking through channels, I came across a show 'Secrets of The US Mint'. Unfortunatly I caught it about 15 minutes already into airing. Even though I missed 15 minutes of it I found it very interesting and learned something I didn't know so I recorded the remaining show.
The subject was about gold coins and the process it takes to produce.

Answer the following four questions:(in order shown below)

1. For a gold coin - how many times is it necessary to strike a blank?.
2. For a platiumn coin - how many times is it necessary to strike a blank?
3. The Mint requires the blanks to weigh at least ____ grams?
4. Who is the Omega man and why was he given this name?

First to have all correct wins. Or most correct wins.

Have Fun! Good Luck!

1. 3
2. 5
3. 31.12g, assuming Platinum coin, since it was the previous question
4. Robert Neville (Charlton Heston), The Last Man on Earth.

4 - The Omega Counterfeit, also known as the "Rolls Royce" of counterfeits, refers to a large number of counterfeit 1907 High-Relief Saint-Gaudens twenty-dollar gold piece discovered to have a greek Omega symbol in the eagles claw. The counterfeits were so flawless they were fooling a lot of people before it was discovered. The counterfeiter is still unknown and has been giving the nickname "The Omega Man". The real coin sells for over $50,000. The Omega Man is believed to have created over 20,000 counterfeits worth over $300 million in todays market. The counterfeits have become so well known and are so flawless that people will pay more than $800 for one of the counterfeits. The identity of the counterfeiter is still unknown.

Phase 9

What is the serial number for this Banco de Mexico un peso?

Guess the serial number as read on this note.
I will respond here with how many numbers are correctly placed within the serial number of your guess.

Like so: You have X number(s) correctly placed in the serial number out of 7.

No editing guesses.

If I see you made a mistake I will post it here. You will be responsible to let me know it has been corrected - I can then post your results, otherwise it will get lost and forgotten.

If you post your first guess and the game is at the second round or after, there is no catching up, you missed out... period.

This phase will continue however long it takes, until someone guesses the serial number correctly.
Results will be posted twice @ midnight and @ Noon forum time.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Any 'next' guess entered before I post your results will be
ignored, which also eliminates you from this phase.
So have patience and wait till you see your results posted before entering your next guess. I will be posting results for as long as this phase goes on, each day at Midnight and 12 Noon forum time.

All guesses must state which guess it is - #1- #2 - #3 ...and so on.

Hints will be given as we go along and posted here so check back often, I won't be reminding you.

Mila's-Birthday-Game-II

There are 7 digits in the serial number.

The serial format of this note is as follows: U234562-----The letter 'U' is correct.

Hint:
1. all numbers added total 29, no 3's no 4's
2. one of the numbers is repeated twice

So as not to confuse anyone I will not include the letter 'U' in your count since I have given it to you.
