My local banks are very helpful. My dump bank has a coin counter and will open all the rolls they get so I take them coins in ziplock bags. The other banks will only take rolled coins and the tellers have to check some or all the rolls depending on the branch instructions. I buy coins from that bank. I don't do a large volume and its all circulating coins. Taking my coins or not doesn't bother me as much as charging me fees. Now that would be awful.
