Nice Iraq note. I believe that this was the only note where Saddam is featured wearing a military uniform.

Nice Cuban note. I went to Cuba a couples weeks a ago and you can no longer bring any Cuban Currencies out of Cuba. They cleary say they are going to seize any CUC (the toursit currencies) and the cuban peso ( for locals) at the airport security check.

Bohdan Khmelnytsky 1595-1657 A Ukrainian Cossack who led an uprising against the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth over 6 years which led to the founding of a Cossack state allied to Russia. Viewed as a Ukraine hero & a villain in Poland he may be likened to Oliver Cromwell's influence in England. A despotic rebel? A city, a region of the Ukraine, a huge statue in Kiev & a Ukrainian military award bear his name. As well as an appearance on this banknote Ukraine 5 Hryvnia (2011)   |

Thanks jbuck.^^ I got this Iranian banknote as a freebie from a seller recently. I guess it slots into this thread topic nicely. Ruhollah Khomeini or 'Ayatollah Khomeini' (1902-1989) Iranian revolutionary, politician and cleric who led the overthrow of The Shah in 1979, ending the 2,500 year old Persian Monarchy. He once claimed "democracy to be the equivalent of prostitution". Named as Time magazine's Man of the Year in 1979 for his international influence. Accused of many human rights violations, thousands of prisoners, dissenters & opponents were executed during his reign, with the USA being labelled as 'the Great Satan' & the Soviet Union as 'the Lesser Satan'.
