I was at the CIBC Main branch today. I happened to ask the teller if there were any commemorative loonie or toonie rolls. Given my experience trying to get the Armistice toonies I had low expectations. Well sometimes you get lucky because they had both! I wanted to get 4 rolls of each, but was told they only had one left of each. I got a mixed roll of coloured and non-coloured D-Day and a roll of the Equality loonies. It's a happy day!

CDN Coins, how did you manage to get a mixed roll. Are they being sent to the banks shrink-wrapped this way?

in my case cibc bank, paper wrap roll with a mix of color and no colour in the same roll. two box like this ceiled with RCM tape.

There is a coin exchange for D-Day coin in Vancouver today. From 11:00 am to 3:00 PM.

If you missed it, there is another tomorrow, June 7 at Coquitlam Center 11:00 - 3:00.

Went today. No lineup at all. Hardly anyone there. Maybe due to short notice as emails were sent only the night before. Also got a black pouch to keep the coin in. 2 coins per person.

Coin exchange at FCP in Toronto today. The RCM rep said they expected 5000 people. This seems high although hundreds were lined up and when I went by again 2 hours later the line was still quite long. Of course I had to grab a couple!
