Not that I remotely know Japanese, but I'll give it a try. Digitally processed (mastered).

Quote: Jbuck ! Did you read it from the CD photo BEFORE I deleted it? It's really something suspicious for someone guess it just like that. Nope. But as I was saying it out loud my brain recalled an image of the CD! When I went to verify, I saw you had removed it! The company I work for is a distributor for two Japanese companies. I have had to deal with their engineers more times than I care to remember, but I think I have acquired a good feel for how they phonetically speak English. It took me a few minutes, but "process" came to me first... imagine a Japanese engineer saying "process review document" and you can feel my pain! "Dream" was the one that stumped me until that CD image popped into my head!

Anyway it's right. And I thought I blurred the photo enough times for the writing to be illegible. We will move on to the main contest. Please don't hate me for it

Quote: And I thought I blurred the photo enough times for the writing to be illegible. That didn't stop me from taking the pic into photoshop and trying to resolve some lettering. Now I gotta ask...what exactly does "dream process" mean?

I think you did, since I did not know it was Dream Process until after I translated the katakana! The blurred image is what I remember, but it did not make sense until I had more pieces! Quote: Now I gotta ask...what exactly does "dream process" mean? Dream is a band. Process is the CD title. ![Dl20k-600th-Post-Games-[phase-1]](https://www.coincommunity.com/forum/uploaded/jbuck/200893_dream_process.jpg)

Quote: It's the band name (first word) and album title (second one). Beat me by 39 seconds. I need to stop trying to work and play at the same time!

Phase 1
Once upon a time there was a land: ![Dl20k-600th-Post-Games-[phase-1]](https://www.coincommunity.com/forum/uploaded/DL20K/200893_Clipboard088.jpg) I think I overdid it a bit, and pasted too many towns now I can't think of any names for them. Want to name a town? Post your names along with the answer! So, this land has no currency! In Phase 1, please make up a monetary system for it For example, 100 cents = 1 dollar, 10 dollars = 1 eagle etc. You can edit your answers if you make a mistake. Maximum TWO systems per person. I'll give you at least a week for it, so everyone can post. Participation is encouraged After finishing Phase 1 we will progress to the second part which is also related. Thank you! - - -

100 cuprum = 1 argentum 10 argentum = 1 aurum I am assuming this nameless land is familiar with Latin. I need to think of some good town names...
