I was surprised as well Joecoin. It turns out they made a 100 Franc Commemorative featuring Eisenhower (50th anniversary of the Liberation of Paris), albeit in 1994. Who'd have guessed?

Ok down to a 1 in 5 chance now. I'll try to cut the number of possible dates in half again. Is the date an odd number?

That's one of the questions that confused our last game master, but I think I got this.

Final answer is ... No.

5. No hole in the coin.
7. Minted in France.
8. "Cent" does not appear on the coin.
10. Silver Coin
11. Before 1873
12. Not an Eisenhower
13. After 1865
14. Not a franc
15. "A" Mintmark
16. Not a 5 Franc
17. Not an odd number

Now a 1 in 3 chance and so I'll play the odds and pick the coin with the highest mintage remaining. My guess is that you have a French 2 Franc with the A mintmark and a date of AD 1868.

Just can't let it go, can you? Perhaps some therapy.

My guess - it is a 2 Franc with an 'A' mintmark minted in the year 1870.

That is a sweet coin--too bad it was minted two years too late. Nice work keeping us organized @jadey!

Looks like Joecoin gets to redeem his initial guffaws with another round as Gamemaster. Congratulations and thanks for the amusing comments.

Excellent game. Simple premise but requires critical thinking (or self imposed sometimes? )

It is with much pride and humility that I accept my rightful place as King Joecoin.

I will endeavor to perform mu next exercise in a much more responsible manner.
