I just Googled it and it says technically they are not dinosaurs, but lived along side dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs are extinct animals with upright limbs that lived on land during the Mesozoic Era, 252 to 66 million years ago

1. a fossil reptile of the Mesozoic era, in many species reaching an enormous size.
2.a person or thing that is outdated or has become obsolete because of failure to adapt to changing circumstances. --- so that's me. LOL

Didn't see Trig's guess but my response was well put... I won this coin off of whatnot of course, box envelope, paper, describing this coins theme, everything for a good price of $13 USD... I had to catch myself on Q18... And answer rightly...  Edited by mrwhatisit
