Aaargh! How can I pick one favorite from the 1870s? Half my proof type set is from the 1870s and they are all my favorites. Better too many to choose from than too few, but still... OK, fine. I'm gonna go with the Proof 1879 Trade Dollar:

Pep, I'd say she's fully Uncirculated, 62 or so, and I do not see any damage from a counting machine, just the usual roller marks that are part of the coin as minted.
