OK, a lot harder to choose a favorite for the 1800s, but I think I'll go with this 1802 Draped Bust Large Cent: I just love the fact that the reverse has "1/000" instead of "1/100".

Both are great entries for today. My fave is this 1804 Cent (S-266a):

I have quite a few more choices here, but this is one coin I will never sell unless I have absolutely no other option! 1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar Overton O-115A (R2) PCGS VF20

Decade 3 - One cent 1817: Again I have very little to choose from in this decade! This cent looks much better 'in hand' than in the photo, but I had to play around with the color and contrast to get anything to show on the picture: it has a very dark tone!

I don't think I will ever find a Classic Head Large Cent that I am truly happy with without spending thousands of dollars, but this is currently my favorite of the various ones I own: It's worn, but at least the planchet isn't full of pock marks.
