The coin is lit from around 8:00 and the double struck tab is bent down so it is in shadow compared to the rest of the coin. Report this Post to the Staff

Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 08/09/2019 12:16 pm Great buy. I do not feel the darkened area is a lighting issue. There is a greenish tint in a few areas. Shading wouldn't give off a greenish coloring, I would think it would be the same grey/black coloring. It almost looks like it has some type of environmental corrosion were some type of liquid stayed in the little metal pocket created by the double strike. Regardless it a cool coin to have.
