Personally, I hope you never sell it. If you do someone will try to pass this off as something rare, which it is not. People selling worthless coins on ebay gives all of us collectors and some of us sellers a bad name.

Quote: Chase007 Pillar of the community that is a messed up reply lol I can see how my reply can be taken the wrong way, but the obvious fact is that any dealer would know that there were no P mintmarks on 1991 cent and once he sees it up close he would know that it is nothing more than a zinc rot, come on now ,a little humor sometimes doesn't hurt! Quote: Oh as for did I call?... no I showed a picture then they wanted to see the physical. And that is what everyone has mentioned, interested in picture, up close will tell a different story.

Youngmaster: This forum is a great place to post pictures and ask as many questions until you get a understanding of what you are asking or looking at involving your coins. My thing was if the coin dealer had seen a picture of your coin he or she should have known right off that there was NO P mint mark placed on that year Lincoln Cent and it is not a error coin its just a burst gas bubble. So he or she was trying to real ya in to the shop in hopes ya buy something. SHADY Some people will take a coin like that and try to sucker people out of there hard earned money due to the fact they are starting out in coin collecting and just don't know a lot about coins YET. There are many informed and Knowledgeable collectors and error hunters here for your Questions.

Once you use the image resizer to optimize the photos down under 300KB, make sure you SAVE them (the download arrow) to somewhere on your hard disk. They will have "opt" added after the filename to distinguish them from the originals. Make sure you are uploading the "opt" JPG's and not the originals.
If that still doesn't work, if you are on Windows, look into that folder with the files and right-click the filename and choose Properties (or set list view to details) and make sure the files are, in fact, under 300KB. (Linux users, ls -l filename)

Click "upload image", "CHOOSE FILE", select the file you want to upload (under 300KB), then choose "Upload to yourname's post" and it will attach the file to your post.

Quote: If a dealer wants to buy this um I would say you need to find a different shop to go to. Or check his stock carefully. He clearly doesn't know what he is doing and you might be able to cherrypick.

I have posted the 1991 penny and wanted to ask how to determine the value on it. It has something on the tails where the letters top right. I have pictures http://goccf.com/t/356593#3065711
