Lately I've been putting proofs in the holes I don't plan on filling. I figured if I'm going to spend a small fortune on a coin it might be the prettiest one I can afford :)
I am certain it has been proposed by others long before me. I imagine some crafty child finding a blank in their 1950's change and then using it to plug that hole in their Whitman folder.
Speaking of plugged holes...
Whitman made a bingo game back in the day that I had as a child (wish I still had it). What did it have to use for the card markers? Those blue plugs from making the holes in the cent folders! I used them to plug up the expensive holes in my old LWC and IHC folders.
