1837 no stars Seated Liberty half dime:

I've owned this coin for 33 years, and only noticed today that it appears to have a repunched numeral 8 in the date, and maybe even a little more going on. If anyone has any more information regarding attribution, I would appreciate you sharing it.

CC's coin looks like "1837 H10C No Stars, Large Date (Curl Top 1) V-1, Flynn MPD-001 and RPD-001. This is one of the Mint's most peculiar blundered dates, which qualifies both as a Repunched Date and as misplaced digits. Numeral 1 is repunched at the base, the 8 is triple-punched -- first widely left, then too low and wide right in the dentils -- while 3 and 7 are repunched south. The date style is Large and curved, with Curl Top 1 and Script 8."
