Lancek Valued Member United States 442 Posts	Posted 01/08/2020 5:47 pm 1. Something about the surface looks wrong. Too shiny. If it is real, I would guess it has been polished. 2. The magnet comments got me wondering. Are you ever likely to find a fake copper coin with a magnet? I mean, copper is really cheap. Wouldn't most counterfeiters just use that to make the fakes? Or is there really something cheaper than copper that has been used, and is magnetic? Report this Post to the Staff

Bet coinweek would do a article on it for educational purposes as it shows almost all the red flags buyers should watch for.
