So, I lost my power Sunday night, and just had it restored. My wife is filling garbage bags with the content of the refrigerator (freezer next).

Sounds awful, hope the Power company give you a rebate for the spoiled food.
In the middle of a lockdown here, a powercut or a net outage is the LAST thing we need.

Last 1933 coin - an incredibly worn British Florin

1933 was a very interesting "gap year" in United States coinage. Apart from cents (minted in Philadelphia and Denver) and half dollars (San Francisco) there were no other denominations struck dated 1933, presumably due to the ongoing Great Depression.

Here are examples of two of those three coins.

The only 1933-dated world coin I have is this one.

1933 - New Zealand - 3d - George V

Not sure what the grade would be, but it looks ok. The reverse is a bit sharper than the obverse.

Here is a 4 Fils from Iraq dated 1933 AD. It was whizzed/polished by my grandfather (back when that sort of thing evidently was done to improve the shine of coins).

Paralyse - love your 3d and its a good first year issue for New Zealand.

Condition wise its above average definitely - but not much.
British/NZ grading - George V is good Fine to aVF - almost but not quite VF and the obverse is better - a full VF.
American Grading - VF25ish
