Beautiful real, NumisRob! And an excellent Kronenthaler, tdziemia! Here is one of Maria T's coins from the Erbland Österreich*. It shows Maria Theresia on the last thaler where she does not wear the veil. Her spouse emperor Franz I passed away in 1765, and the first thalers with her wearing a widow's veil appear later the same year. Austria 1765, 1 thaler. * Habsburg hereditary land of Austria

Lovely patina on that Bavarian ... I like the roccoco rendition of the Madonna by the Bavarian engraver. @erafjel, that's a really lovely thaler compared to mine. I won a nice earlier M-T portrait in the same auction, to post in about two weeks (I expect we will continue to see her a lot between now and then).

1765-W MP - Wurzburg - 1 Thaler Davenport 2899 NGC VF 30 full grade A Madonna thaler, though not nearly as famous as its Bavarian cousins, but certainly as beautiful. 10 pieces to the Mark

Lowball Portuguese 5 Reis from 1764 - the date is clear on the coin if you hold it up to the light at a certain angle, but I had to enhance it slightly on the photo to make it more visible!
