Here is a Kreutzer from the Austrian Duchy of Wiener Neustadt that is dated 1471 AD. It is a weak strike, but fortunately the date is quite clear 9 to 12 o'clock on the rev. I have attributed it as Levinson IV-24 and Szego 2L51.

Wow! Nice clear date.

This undated quattrino of the Duchy of Ferrara is dateable to 1471. Borso d'Este became the Marquis of Ferrara in 1450. In 1471 Ferrara was elevated to the status of a duchy, and Borso died later the same year. So Ferrara coins which bear the inscritiption BORSIVS DVX could only have been struck in 1471 (his earlier coins bore the inscription BORSIVS MARChIO). MIR 245, Numista#281283

If we are lucky I have just one more coin before our anticipated "stall" at 1460.

Seems like we are ready to drop back to the year 1470 AD. Here is another Kreuzer from Wiener Neustadt. It isn't in as good condition as mine from the previous year, but you should be able to make out the inscription MON NOV CIV 1&^0 on the reverse.

Here is a Horngroschen from the German Duchy of Saxony that is dated 1469 AD. It was minted in Leipzig and the two-digit date is somewhat visible on the reverse. I have attributed it as Levinson I-127.

Ok yep. This Horngroschen is dated 1468 and was minted in Freiburg. I have attributed it as Levinson I-119. Interestingly, the two digit date is incorporated into the obv legend.
