Those gold mines in northwest Europe must have been busy that year... Bishopric of Utrecht Sint Martinusgoudgulden, undated but struck in 1464 as best I can tell from the literature, under Bishop David of Burgundy. Friedberg 190, Numista 325293. The patina is odd (dark) for a gold coin, but I am not worried about the authenticity.   Obv: Burgundy-Brabant arms in a trilobe. MOn nOVA AVREA TRAIECTEN (New gold coinage of Utrecht) Rev: Saint Martin seated on a gothic throne SANCTVS MARTIN EPIS (Saint Martin, Bishop) |

Looking good, but would like to see some proof of dates (References etc).

I will post my 1463's tomorrow. I am on the overnight shift tonight. I didn't post yesterday in case someone had another 1464.

As anxious as we are to get the 7th edition running, it is important that those who have these "end of the line" coins are given an opportunity to post them. |

Both of these are undated Hungarian Denars under King Matthias Corvinus that can be attributed to 1463. B-S mint mark;Huszar 706,Unger 556c,Pohl 206-3.  B-I mint mark;Huszar 706,Unger 556b,Pohl 206-2. "N" missing from MONETA.  |

Yep and here is my Hungarian Denar that is datable to 1463 AD. In addition to the attributions that @eddie lists, you could include Frynas H.34.28.   Added: and now I have a gap of three years (1460, 1461, and 1462) so will be sitting on the sidelines.  "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

Yes for the 5th Edition, it looks like @eddie had both 1462 and 1461 covered.

I waited a couple of days since the last one posted. Both of these are undated Hungarian Denars under King Matthias Corvinus that can be attributed as 1462. 1462 n_E;Huszar 704,Unger 555g,Pohl 204-7.  1462 B-S;Huszar 704,Unger 555a,Pohl 204-1,Rethy II-222.   |
