Today I was updating a few photos and this coin was one of them. This was the first high grade IHC I ever purchased and really the coin that inspired me to start this set.

Today's coin is a Copper Nickel from 1864. In 1864 the US mint released 3 different versions of the Indian Head cent. The coin was released in Copper Nickel, Bronze and Bronze with an L for Longacre the designer of the coin. With this one and the one I have on hold I am down to 15 more coins.

I have already followed your 7070 set, you have succeeded there. You're not far behind here either. You're moving pretty fast. You have great coins. Congratulations . I'm still looking for a Flying Eagle and IHC for my set of types. Flying Eagle is not so easy to find at a good price.

Thanks Slerk! I have extra IHC but just checked and I can't mail to Russia. Once the situation gets better message me and I'll send you an IHC.

Today's picture is not a coin, that's coming tomorrow but it is something that every collector needs. Yep a guide to just IHC and Flying Eagles.

I agree! My library continues to grow as I get interested in other areas of collecting and strive to learn more about the coins/currency already in my collection. Being an educated collector is very important!

Being an educated collector is very important! I originally tried you tube but none of my coins were found in a parking lot or runned over so I was worried. That's why I got the book.

Since I got the book, I can now get the coins. Today's coin is an 1867 Indian Head cent. My local dealer held this one for me for 2 weeks.

I just realized that I never posted the first 3 coins I had in this set. I recently posted the first coin I ever got for the slabbed IHC set about a week ago. Here is another that needs its own entry.
