My thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay safe and make sure any valuables are kept safe. Vehicles and storm damage can be replaced, precious family items can't.

Please stay safe. As others have said, belongings can be replaced, people can't.

Floods are horrible. I've dealt with 2 so far. When the water recedes, everything effected needs to be trashed. When a fire strikes, your left with ashes, your stuff is gone. With a flood, you break your own heart repeatedly having to literally throw your own stuff out. Glad you are all safe. Brighter days ahead, hang in there.

Thank you. Water outside is going down real slow. Basement has drained but everything is wet and waiting to be cleaned out. Insurance totaled all four vehicles, have no transportation as of now. Can't get in or out of the driveway anyway, still 3 1/2 feet of water between the road and house. Furnace kinda works and freezer and refridge/freezer work so there is that . Humidity in the house is 60% and that kinda worries me, coin wise. John1

Glad to hear that the tide is receding a little bit. Stay safe!

I hope you have flood insurance . Don't automatically think your home owners ins. covers it unless it's written in on your policy . Don't worry some how or other people get through these kinds of tragedy's . Take one thing at a time and one day at a time . Forget about posting for a while , we'll still be here . Take care of your house and family , they come first .
