Quote: Might have to go a county over for a little bit. Good idea, CaptJeffWorthFL... I rotate three different sets of cities local to me once a month, using one big bank's branches as my main purchase bank and another as my main dump bank...

We cannot get rolls or boxes from most local banks here. They only order the bare min needed for businesses. I feel bad for my son, he wants to check rolls like I did when I was a kid, but times have changed. Tried 3 diff banks.

Try one of your local casinos. Nothing wrong asking at the cashier's cage. Coins get cashed in sometimes.

Quote: I must be the unluckiest guy alive. Have found none as of today, and I have my wife checking her change too. You are not alone. I have none. However, I have no change to search. I rely on my wife and son to provide it.

I am up to 8 now ( 6 different coins ). I purchased the remaining ones so I could have a complete set of 10. I was not able to find a reasonably priced AMP but I made out really good on a couple of other purchases . I found a nice AMP and overpaid a bit for it , I'll make it up somewhere down the line ( hopefully find 1 !!! ) .
I feel for those who can't get stuff from banks. I would start a commercial account if I was having that problem. One teller started to pull that on me at our bank but my wife has a business account so I had her go straighten them out.
Lately I've been searching about 6-800 dollars in quarters each week. Last week I found 2 W ( same day ) but I have hit a dry spell since. I'll just keep digging and I know 1 will pop up when I least expect it.

John77 Do you live in Central Florida? Lol I have had a string of Brinks Boxes with not even a single simple die chip. I really want to know the entire process where mass amounts of searched and rolled coins go after they get dumped. Do they come right back or go to the nearest federal reserve to be processed? Drives me a little crazy sometimes when I can't get a find. But hey it's part of the hunt.

Finally got #100 and 101 and 102 plus a 2018 S NIFC and a 1964 D in my temporary last 2 box hunt today. I have to take a break from coin roll hunting and go cherry picking for a while. That last 15 West Point hunt lasted a month and I was heck bent on 100 goal. Almost threw in the towel after a series of 6 boxes with nothing good, no Ws no Ss no Silver not even a Crossing The Delaware die chip, almost like I was searching someone else's coin hunt dumps but from Loomis, Brinks and Garda. You just gotta keep on hunting and dumping.

Forgot to put the pics of the temporary final hunt. The Ws were a bit beat up and the 2 boxes smelled like dryer sheets. Maybe laundromat coins. I've had several quarter boxes with that smell before.

I've found one out of about $2000 worth of quarters I've ordered and pocket change over the last couple years

Since my last post, about four and a half months ago when I had 64 total, I have doubled my total to 128. In my last 50 boxes I have found 45. So they're still out there. Obviously, the condition of them is not what they were and they are not selling as quickly as they were, but still worth the hunt.
