I think I got all camels, but does the 1990 Dollard, or the 2012 $ sign ones even exist? Other than those 2 I need the Montreal 2004 and 2005 versions is all. Would love to find those 4 to add to my Dansco book of $2.

Well, the toonie variety guru is KoATT, but he seldom joins in discussions, however he has held some lectures and displays at some major Canada coin shows in the past. Anything twonie qualifies his eyes, hence his website name.

He has a website? I thought it was my website that documents all of the counterfeit toonie varieties.

@bwjm I forgot about the plated one. Looks like I need 5 now. Sure seems like a lot of work to make $2 fake coin.

No, KoATT doesn't have a website. I was referring to the moniker that he uses when he DOES join in the fun ... KoATT. The fake assistance is available from nickelsguy. KoATT owns and shows EVERY type/variety/fake/error that were ever on a toonie.

Great site, very informative. Was there many of the 1990s or 2012 $ made? Those and Montreal are only ones I can't find. And new 1999 plated.

There are a few Z Dollard coins floating around, but they're rare. No known 2012s. It is unknown how many were actually made vs. in circulation. Montreal Mints can be found as well, but it'll probably take several boxes of searching.
The only coins that are in circulation in any respectable volume are the Camel Toe Toonies, followed (distantly) by the Montreal Mint toonies. Everything else is negligible at best at this point.
