Why that particular note from 1972, is it pretty rare?
Some of the older Zaire notes can be quite hard to find in pristine condition.

The earliest Berlioz 10f note are dated 1972, but they didn't enter circulation in quantity until 1974, the year the cupro-nickel aluminium 10f coin was issued. The notes remained dominant until 1979 when the Banque de France stopped printing them, but they had a slow death, and could occasionally be found in change until their demonetization in 1986. This note has sentimental value to me as I had a date with a lovely French girl called Marie-Caroline at a camping site in Brittany on the date shown on the note!

DavidUK - I also have an A-prefix Florence Nightingale Bank of England £10 note. I remember getting one of these for Christmas in 1975, but this isn't the same one (like a good little boy, I put that one into my Post Office Savings Bank account!)

The queen looks very handsome in that banknote.

Like the Peruvian note just posted, this note is denominated in old levs. Currencies in the early 1970s, before the impact of the oil crisis, were relatively stable.
