Lovely notes, everyone! I especially like the reverse on the 1971-dated Spanish 500 pesetas. 1969 B USA $1 (F-1905-B):

Quote: A Commemorative banknote celebrating 100 years of the Swedish Riksbank. 300 years, actually . Sweden prides itself with having created the first central bank in the world (with the Bank of England not far behind, in 1694). In contrast to its English counterpart, the Swedish Riksbank was not permitted to issue banknotes from start (due to a less successful experiment with banknote issues by a predecessor bank). The small text at the bottom of the reverse is a text from the first notes payable to the bearer, issued in the first half of the 18th century. It states (in Old Swedish) that the bearer of the note can redeem its value at the bank. The more mundane regular 10 kronor note looked like this (this one happens to be a star note).
