When is the US Mint going to invest in their web technology?!!! It is idiotic that they have crashes like this. I suppose I was lucky and got one of each, but it wasn't without headaches and panic!

On my 7th try to complete purchase...keep getting "web server is down" or "connection timed out" errors. Typical frustrating experience.

OK, I ordered 2 of each and on the "Order History" page it has them listed and says processing. Let's see what happens.

OK, I was able to push the "Place My Order" button, saw a dialog telling me to wait, and then I was redirected to a "The Page You Are Looking For Cannot Be Found" page.

In my bag but can't get thru checkout without crashing!

Only crashed once for me after adding one to cart. I did end up getting one of each.
So much for adding PayPal to my account, did not see the option for that in checkout. Had to use my card which is not ideal.
Seems like I got in just in time, can't load a page on the website now without it crashing.

12:14 and I finally got through. Was able to snag one of both. It was a hassle but persistence prevailed.

I had a card already stored but it wouldn't let me use it for some reason so I had to keep manually entering the card until if finally went through.

I got one of each; maybe the easiest purchase I ever made from the US Mint!  However, they did add shipping to the total, which should have been free.  |

I'm going to try for all 6, I figured there is a profit considering the mint website crashed.

Did those of you that got them get a confirmation email? I cannot tell if my order went through and haven't received an email
